Returns & Refunds

At Kanha Kishori, every rakhi and chuda set is finished by hand — we stand by every piece that leaves the atelier. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
The short version: reach out within 7 days of delivery, keep the item unused and in its original packaging, and refund lands on your UPI / bank within 5–7 business days after inspection.
Return window
You have 7 days from the date of delivery (per the Delhivery tracking scan) to raise a return. Requests after this window are considered on a case-by-case basis and typically not accepted.
What’s eligible for return
- Item arrived damaged or defective
- Wrong item shipped (colour, size, or design differs from what was ordered)
- Not-as-described — set contents, count, or material materially differs from the listing
- Manufacturing defect noticed within the 7-day window
What’s not eligible
- Customised or personalised orders (name-etched pieces, made-to-order colour combinations, festival-specific sets prepared to your brief)
- Items showing signs of use, wear, tie-marks, or alteration
- Items returned without their original packaging or tags
- Items reported after the 7-day return window
- Free gifts, accessories, or bonus items included with an order
How to start a return
- WhatsApp us at +91 99800 42923 within 7 days of delivery.
- Include your order number (starts with KK-), a clear photo of the item + packaging, and a short reason.
- We’ll confirm eligibility within one business day and share the return shipping address.
- Ship it back via any tracked courier (Delhivery, DTDC, India Post Speed Post) and send us the tracking number over WhatsApp.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, the refund is initiated to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Return shipping cost
- Wrong / damaged / defective item: we cover the return shipping. Send us the AWB and courier receipt after dispatch; we reimburse to your UPI within 2 business days.
- Change of mind or size preference: return shipping is on you.
Exchanges
For a straight swap (different size, colour, or set), the fastest route in a festive rush is to return the original and place a fresh order — this avoids the two-way shipping delay. Once your return is inspected, the original amount is refunded so you’re not out of pocket.
Cancellations before dispatch
Orders can be cancelled at no cost as long as they haven’t been handed to Delhivery for pickup. WhatsApp us within a few hours of placing the order; if it hasn’t shipped, we cancel and refund in full within 3 business days.
Refund method + timing
Refunds go back to the original payment method— UPI transfers reflect within 1–2 business days once initiated; bank transfers can take up to 5–7 business days depending on your bank. For cash-on-delivery orders, we’ll collect your UPI ID or bank details over WhatsApp to process the refund.
